Moms are the busiest people I know. Some of my best childhood memories revolve around family traditions in the kitchen. One of my grandmothers was a talented baker, the other a fabulous cook who brought her wonderful heritage with her from Italy.
Bringing the family back to the kitchen table is an idea that is catching on. Fabulous food doesn't have to mean that you're chained to the kitchen the whole day. If you or someone in your family has food allergy problems, cooking from scratch may be the only way you know that you and/or your family are safe. Finding a way to make it simple, tasty and fun is what we will do here. You will find everything from traditional favorites to last minute meals. Simple recipes will help you create healthy meals. We will even work toward planning menus ahead of time so that you don't have to stop by the grocery store every night before you can fix dinner. For the families that are always on the go, we'll share some of our favorite time-saving tips with you, too!
We'll show you how to stock a pantry so that you can pull something together quickly. And we'll help you equip your kitchen to make it as efficient as possible. We might even find a way for the kids to help out in the kitchen so that you can build some memories there, too.
After all -- it's who is around the table that is the most important.
