Barbecue Beef Brisket II

Barbecue Beef Brisket II

On a chilly day, I love a dish that you can put in the crock pot or oven for hours. It seems to keep the house warmer, and the aroma of dinner greets my family when we come home from a busy day.

  • 1 3-4 pound beef brisket, trimmed
  • 2 tsp. granular garlic
  • 2 tsp. minced onion
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 16-ounce bottle barbeque sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Place the brisket in a glass baking dish and sprinkle the seasonings over the meat.
  3. Press seasonings gently into the meat.
  4. Mix the apple cider vinegar in with the barbeque sauce, and cover the brisket with this mixture. Cover the baking dish with foil and place in the oven for about 4-5 hours, turning once about halfway through if you're home.
