Honey Sesame Chicken
 

3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast tenders

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup mustard (regular or dijon style)

2 cups bread crumbs

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

2 Tbsp. sesame seeds

1 tsp granulated garlic

salt and pepper to taste

olive oil or pan coating spray

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  In a shallow bowl, combine honey and mustard.  In another bowl, mix bread crumbs, parsley, sesame seeds, garlic, salt and pepper.  Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and grease lightly with olive oil or pan coating spray.

Dip chicken tenders in honey mustard mixture and roll in bread crumb mixture.  Place on cookie sheet and lightly spray tenders with olive oil or pan coating spray (you can purchase an oil sprayer at many kitchen or bath stores).  Place in oven and reduce heat to 325 degrees.  Bake for about 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked thoroughly.  Serves 6-8.



 

 

 

Preparing this recipe ahead of time is easy; it also freezes well.  If you have any leftover bread crumb mixture, put it in a resealable bag and place it in the freezer.  The next time you want to make this recipe, you can add this to a new batch.

Also, if you don't want to bake the chicken, you can fry it on the stove top.
