I prefer the ciabatta simply because it is a heartier bread.
6 slices Italian or ciabatta bread
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Melt butter in a small bowl. Stir in olive oil and minced garlic. Brush mixture over bread slices evenly and top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is toasted. Serves 6.
